  • Massive numbers of migrating Sandhill Cranes expected, along with one of the world’s rarest living birds, the Whooping Crane as they move south to wintering grounds. We saw a whopping 157 Whooping Cranes in one day on our 2018 tour!!
  • Spectacle of migrating geese including Canada, Cackling, Snow, Ross’s and Greater White-fronted geese, as well as an abundance of migrating ducks.
  • Migrating songbirds including numbers of Lapland Longspurs, American Pipit, Snow Buntings, various sparrows and if we’re lucky, Smith’s Longspur.
  • Chance to see elusive game birds; Gray Partridge and the declining Sharp-tailed Grouse.
  • Visit Prince Albert National Park for boreal species such as Canada Jay, Black-backed Woodpecker, Spruce Grouse and more!
